Bill Gates didn't invent BASIC on his own. As I recall it was purchased, or maybe that was windows. Oh no, that was stolen from Apple. Gates made an operating system and an Xbox.
Was Henry Ford part of the modern era?! I'd say Steve Jobs was a great business man and the fact that buying Apple products is the "cool" thing to do. People have got to remember that Steve Jobs didn't design any of the recent Apple products although he did come up with the whole form over function thing in all of the products. I'd say that Bill Gates has done more for the computing world in terms of function and Steve Jobs in term of things looking nice. I don't know, I'd say of the 20th Century the biggest so called Enterpreneur (I hate that word) would have to be between Henry Ford and Bill Gates. For the 21st Century I'd say maybe Elon Musk or one of the social network people.
Apple made QDOS? (psst, facts make you sound smarter) The thing that bill gates did better than steve jobs, was business. They both kinda share the title since they worked together for a while and helped eachother.
