This is a discussion thread for the "Former Apple Employee Sues Company, Claims Steve Jobs Promised Him Job Security" story posted on the front page.
Cause he probably was very similar to Jobs in terms of work ethic and the way he ran his people. People like people that hold a common connection.
^^ guesswork I wish there was more detail. We have no clue why. Maybe there's a really good reason as to why he was fired?
To be fair, Jobs only said that HE would keep him, but that is completely thrown out the window when Tim cook took over. They are different people, Cook is not forced to follow every single thing Jobs said. Things do change so eventually Cook will have to lead with his own guidelines. Also companies are allowed to fire anyone as long as they have the right reason, so if this man did something wrong, I can't blame Apple for doing something that is just normal in the business world.
Just give the man his money and move on apple, it is very clear to the world you've got plenty of it. They are turning into courtroom junkies I swear, maybe their lawyers just have a thing for the judges and wanna spend as much time around them as possible?
But of course it was a one-on-one conversation with Steve so there are no witnesses to corroborate his claim.
