note: zealots dont mean theyre the best on this forum. i know many people who are not zealots and help us

anyway, im not sure about ur question, but if people did, it would be so illegal. and how would u actually get the app onto a computer?

I'm willing to bet that the apps will have some sort of DRM on them, but given the ingenuity of the iPod Touch/ iPhone community, I don't know how long it will last.

note, u need OpenSSH to do this, which appstore would probably not allow.
EDIT: wtf u deleted ur post. anyway u need openSSH

    They'll be locked.
Like when you buy music from the iTunes store.. or buy the January Update.

There also wouldn't be a way to get the apps on or off your iPod. Apple aren't going to put an SSH app onto Firmware 2.0.

It was just an attention catcher, and what makes apps so different from all of the other things we torrent.

Nope, that's probably what's going to happen. People will be able to SSH on 2.0 wayyy before someone cracks DRM on AppStore apps though.
