    Well, Football (Soccer) was first, it was introduced in the medieval ages, while American Football was in the 1900's

    This is a odd thing I found out on wiki
    Soccer and American Football originated from the UK! WOO! :p

    I'm not really into football. Sometimes I'll play some two hand touch, but I don't watch it much. I always watch the superbowl though.
