I have searched and found very little on the subject...
Is it possible to change the default font, the one under the application icons? Or at least change the colour?
I know one way to do this is to make text integrated into icon picture itself, but is there any other way?

    thanks!!

Well when I had my video I used iPod Wizard to change the font and color of the text. I don't think that will work on the Touch, but who knows?

Is there a way to change the default font to one that you've added yourself?
And is only for changing Japanese text?

what if you put the font you want into the fonts folder, and renamed helveticca (spelling?) to helvettica.backup or something, then renamed your font to helvettica? then you could, in theory, change the font. anyone want to try it?

I don't know about system wide but I was able to replace Marker Felt in Notepad with Helvetica by editing the Application with a HEX editor.
