It's true! They have said so in their blog. Tomorrow they are officially
taking down Flying Rider from the AppStore due to copyright violations with
    Line Rider.

Directly from their blog at: http://flyingflying.free.fr/
inXile found that their game was to much like theirs so they decided to e-mail FlyingTom everyday since he put the game up about telling him to take it down, and a day after it was released for free... He did.
This is to bad, and I am not sure about this but I think you can keep the game if you already have it installed, so if you don't, go install it now!

Just as a precaution, I'm backing up on my computer.

That's a bummer. I feel sorry for FlyingTom. Just everyone go and download it before the 15th. See how many downloads he gets.

dont be to sure if you will be able to still use it if you have it downloaded look at this (and ofcoarse there is a way arround it

Last week, I wrote about of a kill-switch that allows Apple to blacklist and to remotely disable rogue iPhone apps previously distributed through the App Store. Apple CEO Steve Jobs has now confirmed the kill-switch’s existence.

    From Zdziarski:

“Unless, for some reason, they decided to build two separate mechanisms into the iPhone to do this (of which, the other one is invisible), this one likely feeds a ‘master’ kill switch. Perhaps there is a special setting in the configuration file which can vaporize the app all together. Of course, this is just speculation, but as I said before, it would be irresponsible to have a blacklist, but only use it to kill GPS applications.”

Zdziarski also posted a method for blocking Apple’s kill-switch.

SSH into your iPod Touch and iPhone and just add the following entry into <root>/etc/hosts: [Right click on the hosts file and select edit. Now enter the text below and save]

    127.0.0.1 iphone-services.apple.com

Well um, I have Erica Sadun's light application and it was taken off the app store a couple weeks ago. I've synced and connected to the internet on my iPod and nothing has happened. It's still there. Hopefully that's what will happen to my FlyingRider also.
