So recently my ipod touch 4g died and after i plugged it in a few minutes later the apple logo starting flashing over and over non-stop. I managed to get it into recovery and used "RecBoot" to boot it out but when it boots it, it just boots it back to the flashing apple logo... Any help?

Try holding down the power and home button before you go through all that trouble.

ValleyForge: I'm trying not to restore because I have yet to do a backup due to my ipods battery not working properly and connecting to certain computers. I don't want to lose all my notes and photos.

Jpga13: I have. That puts it into recovery mode..

If that puts it into recovery mode then it already is in recovery mode. What I said does a hard reboot.

Is there any other way to get it out of recovery mode without restoring it?

Yes, there are ways to do that. Just do a quick GOogle and you will find lots of tutorials with reboot and other apps.

Your only hope at this point is TinyUmbrella's "Fix Recovery" from DFU mode. If that doesn't work, use the SSH ramdisk to recover what data you can, then restore.

TinyUmbrella doesn't seem to read my ipod for some reason so I hope SSH ramdisk works.
