Would it be possible to get adobe flash player on the itouch?
You seriously didn't just say that.
Well in all honesty it would be very possible. It would probably take like 5 sec for Apple to put it a new firmware, BUT it would cost Steven Jobs probably millions of dollars because it is such an important internet add-on and it would really boost the ipod touch/iphone sales. So in other words we will never get Flash unless Apple decided to book out a lot of money.
no, adobe would hav to take part and actually program it. it would be a tremendous amount of work and very complicated. but in installer, u can install Bookmarklets from BigBoss. then it can play some flash vids via iTransmogrify
How would it cost Steve Jobs if it boosts sales?
It would cost him (as in Apple) a lot of money because Adobe would know it would boost sales.
No I have seen in other places that it would take only little bit of codeing to make it possible.
actually it would cost Apple very little, in fact all they'd really ahve to do is allow Adobe in on some programming which may be possible with the SDK. Adobe could prolly make it in 2 days, test it for a month and whaam bam thank you maam iPod touch Flash player is born.
Edit: in theory it will boost sales, in reality it would probably sell 100 more. Why? You might ask? Well those who know/care about what it is and the fact they don't have it already have an iPod, or aren't getting one for some other reason.
Well if it costed Apple very little I would think we would already be on addicting games then.
I hope, adobe will make normal flash 9, not flash lite
If the rumors from Gearlive are true flash is coming, but to me it seems too good to be true and i have also read that Adobe are denieing any work on flash for iphone/ipot.
