According to Mac Rumors, Adobe has publically said that a flash platform for the iPhone is pretty much done and could be made available in a very short time. In Adobe's Sr. Director Paul Betlem's words, "...the ball is in Apple's yard, so to speak." If Apple gives them the go-ahead, they could have it up in no time. Steve Jobs still sticks with his 'Flash will be horrible on the iPhone' comments for the time being. We'll just have to wait and see!

I personally think that it should be a free app on the app store that if installed can be enabled and disabled at will from system settings on the device. I think it would drain the battery fast and slow down the processor. That's why I think it'd be great, but it needs to have an on-off switch.

I imagine it would be in settings, because you can toggle java and all that.

Please stop dreaming. It is never going to Happen.

    Reasons why:

    • Competes with the iTunes Music Store making it obsolete. Which will make the Stock/Share Holders angry with Apple and likely to Sue.
    • Flash is buggy and has lots of exploits.
    • Slow and Power consuming.

Not just that, do you know how many streaming sites there are? You would NEVER have to BUY Video or Music EVER again. And in a world where we run on Money, that is NEVER going to sit well with the people who run Apple and control Apple with Money.
