K so i was looking around on my touch tring to figure out some stupid problem i was having and decided to take a break.

I went to System/Library/Internet Plug-ins and found the quicktime plug in. I thought to myself "hey if quicktime is here and quicktime works on the touch, then if you put flash player in this place then it should work too."

I havent been able to test this but i think that it is a new approch to the problem and should definetly be worked on.

This is just a shot in the dark so dont heckle me for thinking out loud.

As far as i'm aware, the touch supports quicktime only if the file is a mp4, because the touch has hardware mp4/H264 accelleration.

    So, no flash.

I think its a good approach, but I have no idea what people have been trying in the past. It's gotta be harder than dragging and dropping flash there though

and why is it that the touch only supports quicktime? there is flash player for safari and the touch is just a scaled down version of that right?

I tried it a long time ago, and with Flip4Mac... both don't work. It was a shot in the dark, but they are of course compiled for a different processor so there's bound to be issues that way. Always worth a try.
