Flash on the Touch

    anyone succesfully run flash on their ipod touch? i've just installed apptapp and was wondering if there was a release for a flash reading app yet?

    also what is everyone using these days to install 3rd party apps?

    yeah, see my video in there where i demonstrate it working as a flash drive!

    works great, but no GUI yet.

    I think there is some confusion here between using the iTouch as a USB "flash drive" and wondering if Safari on the iTouch has Maxromedia's Flash plug-in. From a usability standpoint, the latter one if more important.

    well, re reading the thread starters post, it appears that the flash web plugin is being discussed here. it is unfortunate that Apple has stripped this thing of Flash for some stupid reason.

    just going to albinoblacksheep and watching evil strawberry would justify the 300 big ones i dropped for this thing.

    im guessing they left flash out because of the youtube thing...if we had flash then we would be able to visit other video sites like metacafe or dailymotion (correct me if wrong) and youtube wants exclusivity...
