Flash Memory - Does it get fragmented? After heaps of song and video adding and deleting you'd think that the flash memory would be a mess. How does it handle not becoming jumbled up?

Fragmentation only really hits hard disks badly because they have to move a head along a spinning platter (or six) to search for data, and if it's scattered across four platters and six different sections, that slows down load times greatly. Flash doesn't really have that sort of issue, due to it being solid-state memory. And even then, it's easy enough to fix; you just restore the iPod and it'll write everything in all over again in neat sections. Or empty the iPod's media area and then reload all your music.
