    Hi everyone,
I am going to be getting a 32 gb ipod touch 3g for 30 dollars soon but it has two problems... one is the headphone jack works most of the time, but if you turn it just so it wont work. I imagine that that would be kinda annoying so if you know how I could fix that please tell me. Second the power button is not sticking out of the ipod so its hard to turn the ipod on and off. You sorta have to stick your fingernail into the ipod to turn it off and on. If you know how to fix any of these two problems please tell me!
    Thanks,
    ploppalopp

It seems to me that both problems have the potential to be relatively easy to fix if you just opened it up to see what it looks like in there. Maybe post some pics?

Just replace them both. Messing with the parts usually screws them up for good in my case. But you might be better then me (you probably are).

Issues headphone jack could just be related with the headphones used. When you get it, try a good pair of headphones.

If it needs fixing, I agree with the aforesaid. However, before opening the device, go to iFixit and read up on how to dissemble the iPod and repair those things.

I am sure he said that in his post.

Anyhow, lets keep this on topic.
