Is it worth fixing my IPT1G's broken audio jack? There's an online site that will fix it for $35. I haven't seen it cheaper anywhere else.

as long as you know you can trust them it should be fine. but if you have enough just replace the ipod with the 3G when it comes out

If you're not going to get an iPod touch 3G, then I would repair it. $35 isn't too much.

I don't think so. Just start saving for the iPod Touch 3g.

Okay. Well trying to sell it is harder than ever since it's broken. I didn't know if maybe fixing the audio jack would be better for resale. Everything else works fine.

Can't wait until the 3rd Gen comes out

you could see what you get when you try to sell it with audio jack broken lol!
yeah i guess the value would be way better if you fixed it, and easier to sell too. it depends on your situation.

i've tried selling it SOO many times. Nobody on ebay wants it lol. When no one on ebay wants to even bid on it, you know it's crap. Anyways it just sucks that the right channel audio works and not the left. The ipod itself works fine other than that. Funny how people will buy ipods with broken, smashed up screens, but don't want to buy a cosmetically good ipod with a broken headphone jack

Guess it's time for an upgrade.
