Fixing 1604/160x iTunes Errors When Restoring

    What do you mean by cd'd??? I know to you guys and girls thats a nooby question but I just want to be 100% sure I get this right :)

    Thanks dude. This worked for me. I've been getting this error both on my laptop and pc. I've was already able to jb my ipod last wed using my pc so i'm sure there's nothing wrong with it. but when I needed to re-jb my ipod, it started getting this error.

    FYI for other noobs like myself, i needed to re-jb my ipod bec I didn't know the 2 minute watchdog rule where it reboots itself automatically if it doesn't reach the homescreen in 2minutes. This happened to me when I uninstalled a lot of apps at the same time.

    cd'd as in opened comand prompt and browsed into that folder, you can do that by:

    cd desktop/folder/
    then you can run things from inside that folder by typing the name of the files

    i have same problems like that, i cant restore my ipod touch 2g also now stuck in recovery mode.. thats means i can not use any functıon of ipod...

    help me plss... :|

    Messed up!!!!!

    This made my ipod touch unable to start!!!!!!

    DFU mode and restore. If that doesn't work it's probably out of battery, let it charge (plug the usb cable in) and leave it for about 15 minutes before trying DFU.

    Would Iboot process work for the following error???


    The iPod 'iPod' could not be restored. An unknown error occured(9)

    So i did the whole process now i get startup logo flash white.

    ideas?
