FIxed PSOD

    Ok so i had the pink screen of death when trying to downgrade to 2.2.1, so i decided to try beta 5 and it worked. but i want to get back down to 2.2.1. SO what should i do. I dont want this to happen again.

    i suggested to you before: Don't upgrade to the beta without registering. If you don't want this to happen again, don't bother upgrading to the beta, jeez.

    DFU and restore to 2.2.1 on iTunes 8.1.

    The thing is iTunes 8.1 doesn't recognize your ipod anymore once you go to the beta and use iTunes 8.2 beta to restore. Even in DFU mode. That was just for me, but yours might be different.

    yeah but i couldnt get to 2.2.1, i was stuck on the pink screen of even on DFU.
    so it fixed by upgrading back

    well, you could always wait for the public release of the firmware, then just upgrade. that would most likely fix it.
