    Hi,

my touch is stuck at the apple logo (unfortunately after toying with some beta stuff on the installer.app list)! I know that the first suggestion is to restore, but I was curious if there was another way around that...

I see all my music/videos in iTunes and I can successfully connect via SFTP and see all the files on the iPod Touch...

I guess if I have to I'll restore

PS - I have customize.app installed, not summerboard, and for some reason I thought it was a good idea to install that pogostick app (beta), which was pointless and most likely was the culprit. It stopped working after I uninstalled pogostick

Well it appears you've answered your own question within your post "I guess if I have to I'll restore

" looks like thats the only answer until a new way is unveiled.

Try logging in via SSH and typing the following:

    /System/Library/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app/SpringBoard

    Then try rebooting.

I tried that, and it gave me this:
    "zsh: permission denied: /System/Library/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app/SpringBoard"

I gave up, I just restored. Thanks anyways!
