Guys, im the happiest man in the world right now lol. Let me start off from the beginning...

In case you all don't know, the spinning wheel of death is when you do something and then you get that waiting wheel that you see everytime you respring. The only difference is, your ipod doesnt come out of it. This is supposed to happen even if you reboot. Before, you couldnt fix it even when booting in recovery mode and kicking it out to normal mode.

Well, for the last couple of days, i've been trying out a lot of new stuff on my ipod. My ipod's pwned, so a lot a bugs are going around. One i found out recently was when i would reset all of my settings. My ipod would go to a spinning wheel of death. This happened to me twice and i restored both times. So today i was bored and trying to get mobile finder to work and then i reset my settings and what do ya know! THE SPINNING WHEEL OF DEATH. I tried multiple times to find a solution becausei was getting sick of building my whole ipod media again. Well guys, no need to restore anymore! What you have to do is plug your ipod in. (it should still be found by the comp). Then you gotta download something like iphone PC suite or total commander. I use iphonebrowser because it is the easiest. Then when your on the program and connect via USB, locate to the System/Library/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app folder and drag the n45ap.plist im going to upload, to the folder. It should be a couple seconds, and then your ipod starts normally!!!

    Hope this helps,
    Mark Damore

ok, so what if i removed the bosstoo.app?
cause for me this simple replacement doesnt work... , though im adding the file with winscp because i still have a wifi connection during the spinning wheel of death...
can i place the bosstool.app back in and make it work??

    thx!
