So R U having anerror 13 when restoring to 2.0?
U have tried DFU mode diff USB ports and everything u can think of?
Well there is a very easy fix!

    1.Restart Ur computer.
    2.Plug in ur iPoT
3.Open itunes and DONOT open any other programs and close any that have opened.
4.Turn iPoT on if it is not already on
5.Hold Home and Sleep/Wake buttons and count to tan and then release the sleep button but
    but keep home button pressed.
6.Release home button when itunes detects ur iPoT(screen should be blank of ipod)
    7. Restore

Note : Donot open any programs during this process. this very crucial.
And also this may or may not work but it most prob willl and it did for me and my friend and cousin

I was getting error 13 along with a few other errors every so often and finally was able to get it working. For me it had nothing to do with having other programs running. All I had to do was remove my other usb hardrives and after doing that I was able to install the 2.0 firmware on my ipod touch.
