Best Solution for ZiPhone's Jailbreak Freezing Problem

Here's a simple guide to jailbreak your iPod Touch and have no problems with crashing or freezing.

This file is required for this process.
    Download ZiPhone 2.6b

1.) Open iTunes and restore to 1.1.4 firmware.

2.) Once freshly restored to 1.1.4, close iTunes and Open ZiPhone.

3.) Run Fix NvRam. This fixes "Spamming Problem."

4.) When your iPod returns to home screen, run iPod Jailbreak.

5.) It should reboot and return to home screen and show the Installer and Zibri's blog.

6.) That's it! Freshly restored to 1.1.4, jailbroken, and no freezing problem!

I've test on a 8gb,16gb, and 32 gb, each one worked perfect!

Most people forget to close iTunes, which is the cause of the freezing problem.

actually this works 100% of the time:

right after you jailbreak do this:

    Prevent Keyboard Problems
    1. Open contacts and pretend to add a contact and type randomly for 10 seconds, make sure you cancel
    2. Follow the Step 2. BSD Subsystem steps then look at step 3 here
    3. Open contacts again and pretend to add a contact and type randomly for 10 seconds, make sure you cancel
    4. Open installer and pretend to add a source, if it doesn't freeze then you did good and it will never freeze

    this on is better

I have an even better fix! More of an alternative really...

    iLiberty+

If you start with that in the first place, you shouldn't encounter any problems.

I'm with RedShift. ZiPhone is crap compared to iLiberty+ (which, by the way, isn't stolen and is much more stable).

Thanks a lot for this topic, going to give it a shot right away. Note; I can't find an option named NvRam on the latest ZiPhone version. iPhone sorta bricked when using iLiberty (didn't boot through the Apple logo), restoring again now...

I am still so confused with problems like this. I have used ZiPhone 2.6b on dozens of Ipod's including my own and have never encountered any of these problems. ZiPhone has been extremely stable in my experience.
