Sorry if this is in the wrong section but what do you think of this theme so far. It is my first theme that I am working on. Background is a wallpaper from Windows Vista and all the icons are hand drawn in GIMP2. I doubt I will do anything with this theme, but what do you think? Also supports folders - Games and Utilities. MIM, Reminder, and all shown are supported.

Hmm.. I hate to say it, but I don't like it. The Icons aren't brilliant, and don't fit with the wallpaper very well. And the slider is kinda "squiggly."
Sorry about the constructive criticism mate. Not bad for a first theme though. Quite like the dock icons.

    I agree with itouch.
It's uh, interesting. Looks kinda like a vista theme background.
Not bad for hand drawn though.

Thanks for the criticism. It will help me make it better. Like I said, I don't plan on doing anything with it and it's hand drawn so the icons aren't going to look the best so thank you for all the opinions!

Draw on a larger template, then reduce the size at the end.

Check how it looks at the smaller "finished" size during the process.

There are shading and gradient tricks, as well, for "edges" and such and selectable shapes that help if you are going for smoothed edges.

People who have more experience than me (practically everyone) could tell you more.
