Is there any way to trick it into thinking you have an iPhone so that it can be installed on an iPod Touch?

I assume this works with the iPod as long as you have a microphone earphones plugged in? Hopefully, this would be a fantastic app for college lectures

Sorry I can't remember if the iPhone 2g has a built in microphone, it will definately work if it does but if it doesn't all you need to get is earphones which have a mic built in. This is all assuming though that it will support earphone mics
