Well I'm probably going to get around $500 in the next few weeks, and i might build a custom computer with it. I pieced on out on new egg. I'd like it to be a little cheaper if anyone has any suggestions. The case is ATX Mid, but Mobo is Micro ATX, will it work?

Any suggestions would help alot. Thanks. My sub-total is $703.89, without rebates, and that includes a 1yr extended warranty for for $24.99 for the RAM and CPU combo.

Yeah, mini ATX board will work in a mid ATX case. There will be a gap at the bottom of the case and the mainboard. If you want pics I can put some up later (To show what I mean). Anyways, go the 9800GTX+ over the 9800GTX and get a PSU with a little more watts. Maybe a 650w.

But i'd rather spend less money. Can you put together a good cheap one, around $500? Maybe without a quad core? But anyway thanks.

Go with the new AMD quad cores. Great performance for the price.

Sloppy, can you build me an AMD Quad-Core rig for around the same price?
Edit: tgluak, can you build me an AMD quad core, or post some pics. Was it hard putting together your own rig? Really i can do everything except i need to know about wiring the power buttons, on-board sound beep thing, and other things that i need to do. Got any good guides on how to build it?

Its just the 9800GTX+ is a revised 9800GTX. Change the RAM cos unless your overclocking. You don't need those heatsinks on it. Just get Kingston or something.
Edit: Also the standered cooling should be fine. (CPU)
