Hello to everyone. I just recieved my new iPod Touch 32 GB.

    So i get a doubt
Before connecting it for the first time i must charge it for 24 hours? Or something like that because my nokia the first time said that it must be charged 24 hours when you connect it

    Thanks in advance

Just be careful though, if you have bad battery life you may or may not have a bad battery. I have a pretty bad battery but its not because i didnt charge it for 24 hours. ITs not how the battery works. So if you have crappy battery life its not your fault. The cause is undetermined between iOS 4.1 and the new iPod touch

No, but I would, or at least charge it that night.

It does not matter. The iPod Touch uses Lithium-ion batteries. It doesn't have the memory effect, as your Nokia phone had. Your Nokia phone may have had the nickel-based battery which has the memory effect so therefore you have to fully charge it, fully empty it etc.

tl;dr - you can charge whenever convenient and stop charging whenever too

I disagree. Ramdomly charging is not good. It's always best to charge at night (since you don't use it at night)
