    if my pc doesnt recognize and my dad's laptop either, than if my friends pc wont work then i truly am bricked...if nothing works im gonna go to an apple genious

    Well if its you trying it on all the PC's, you might not even get it in DFU mode properly.

    i've been holding the DFU by pressing home + power for 10 seconds then release power and keep holding home for 6 seconds.

    To enter DFU mode:
    Hold both buttons for 10 secs EXACTLY, then let go of sleep, BUT KEEP HOLDING HOME UNTIL YOUR PC RECOGNIZES IT! (I use this method)

    well i've done this 10000 million times! nothing is happening. it worked at first and then i messed up the reboot process and now i just f***ed my ipod
