Sorry if the title was misleading and is pulling in views for people expecting that there IS an update to the beta firmware.

Anyways, I was wondering if anyone either had heard anything about an upcoming beta update (unlikely), or remembered back to the 3.0 betas and approximately how often Apple released updates back then?

I ask because I've been tasked with beta testing some software for the company I work for, but I really hate having 4.0 on my device under normal everyday use. If there is an expectation that we should see an update in about a week, I'm gonna do what I can to downgrade back until then.

    I believe 3.0 beta's were released every 2 weeks.

As to anyone knowing when the next beta will be released, only Apple know.

Just wait a few weeks and you should see a new beta out and ready to be tested.

When a new beta is released, is it required to update to it?
I just hate having to restore every time.

No, they won't force you to update.

They probably won't force you to update, but I would if I were you. They'll have some of the bugs worked out and most things will work better.
