Firmware 2.2 and safari download plugin!

    hi guys is it just me that is having problems in downloading or it's common cuz I'm having a message that always download failed any clues??

    I think the question is 'what are you downloading, and from where'? You shouldn't have any download issues as long as the server doesn't drop connection.

    does it say something like "failed to save file"?

    Also, if you have any of those certain programs which allow the downloading of cracked apps, SafariDL doesn't work with them installed and vice-versa.

    working for me with seeqpod. have you tried the backwards compatibility from cydia?

    If you have [PIRACY]us, get rid of it. If not, check the permissions on /var/mobile/Library/Downloads and make sure you've got it set to +777 or the owner is 'mobile'.

    U're right man its working now but [PIRACY]us don't affect it it's just permissions thing

    Is there a way to change the download path to /var/mobile/Media/Downloads?

    No. That's hard-coded, and when asked, the prageamner said it was easier this way.

    And [PIRACY]us is trouble with SafariDL. Many threads about conflicts with SafariDL. Don't come crying to us if SafariDL stops working.
