Hi Guys! I've just installed firmware 2.0 and everything works fine except weather... I removed Cupertino (default) from the list, but when i try to add a well known City...it doesn't find anything and keeps saying "type the city, state or ZIP code"

My previous firmware was 1.1.4 JB. 2.0 install method: DFU Mode/Shift+Restore (Windows). Is this a side effect of an illegal downloaded firmware? .......Any Ideas?

Thanks in advance and sorry about my bad English

Firmware 2.0 requires WiFi for any applications that uses the Internet. Last time, Weather.app had a storage for cities and zip codes.

I hear ya. I would have also loved it if they added more cities on the clock app.

In my case, I was trying to add Bermuda cause I have relatives there, but nope. I don't see it either.

I hope we get to see a solution.

    the apple weather app sucks.

download weatherbug. it's free and it provides you with current forcast, 5 day forcast, and radar.

    Hello, subcode.
I updated my Ipod touch to 2.0 yesterday (leagaly and paid) and have experienced the same as you.
I cannot add new places in the weather application. I have tried to reinstall but this does not help.
Let us hope it will be fixed in a new version real soon.
When it comes to weatherbug: is it possible to get temperature in celcius?

    Hi m8!
Thanks for posting your experience... so this is a 2.0 problem!
As for Weatherbug...It's nice, but the same here....NO Celsius

Hope Apple will fix this problem with a new firmware. Reading user's experiences from 2.0, i realize that 2.0 is really buggy (wi-fi problems, overheat e.t.c.)
I miss my JB 1.1.4 (mobilescrobbler, messengers, iphysics, mxtube, slsk +++), but remote and tuner are Great Apps!
