Firmware 1.1.4/2.0 Dual Boot Possible

    I think it would be possible to boot 1.1.4 and 2.0 on the same iPod/iPhone. Let's say your on FW 2.0. With the OpenSSH you could put a 1.1.4 root with a different name (1.1.4FW) and when you want to boot it your could change to 2.0 root (ROOT) name to 2.0* and rename the (1.1.4FW) folder to (ROOT) and it could boot. I am trying to test it right now by get the all the 1.1.4 root files.

    You can not partition a flash drive and you would have to write your own boot screen

    You can't pass boot-args anymore, so have fun with that.

    lol look at the ipod itself. it had the main partition for music and everything else while it also has the smaller partition for firmware apps ect.

    I'm sure it can be done. Every bootloader can be modified.
    I remember when I hacked the bootloader for my then Moto StarTac phone.
