    Found The Answer!!!!!!

    If anyone else wants to know then heres how. I did a bit of research and discovered the plist files. now you need to ssh into your ipod and navigate to

    /Library/LaunchDaemons

    and edit this file.

    org.fireflymediaserver.mt-daapd.plist

    ( just open with wordpad ) Where it says Disabled Replace With Enabled

    <key>Disabled</key>
    <true/>
    <key>Label</key>
    <string>org.fireflymediaserver.mt-daapd</string>

    The Reason i want to do this is because i am sick of disabling and enabling this every time i want to use it or watch videos on my ipod.

    If you install Boss Prefs, there is a plugin for firefly server. It allows you to toggle on/off and it should remember your choice if you reboot. Its a GUI version of what you have already done, but a bit more flexible, as there might might be times when you want to turn it off to save battery power for example.
