today i got findmyi from cydia to see how tracking my iphone 3g would work. the app kept crashing so i uninstalled it, and now my iphone keeps going into safemode. Once in safemode i restart springboard, or restart my iphone all together and it goes into normal mode for a minute and then goes right back into safemode.

any ideas on what i can do to fix this without restoring?

    do u have sbsettings??
i would open sbsettings, go to processes,
    then delete every processs,
    press free up memory
    do it a few times
    and then respring
    then reinstall the app

i dont know if it will work but its worked for me a few times

well had enough time to delete the processes and hit free up memory a few times, but then it just went into safe mode.

fixed the problem. i went to settings>general>reset>reset all settings. and magically it fixed the problem.

    it is also even easier:

    it is also even easier:

I had the same problem and was almost on despair and dont want to restore my iphone...

you only need to go back in cydia (whether in security mode or normal) then go to manage (in the lower bar), then packages and now you see the list of installed packages...

now go to the button in the upper right corner with the name 'easy' (I have the German version, the button can also have an different name)! cydia now shows all installed packages

now look for packages with "FindMyI...." (at the beginning) and remove them!

if now the iphone restarts, everything is as it was!
