    My apologies if this question has been asked before or is badly worded, I'm just lazy =]

    I've read posts where people give instructions to go into certain folders within the iPod touch on their computer, like you can with other iPods.
    Can you do this? If so, how? I can't seem to see my iPod in My Computer.

    Or does this only apply to the iPhone?

    Oh, and I'm running Windows, by the way.

    Okay. Well I'm glad to hear it applies to the iPod touch, then.

    Could you be more specific, i.e. What exactly is it, how do I use it?

    I know I must sound stupid, I'm just not good at this kind of thing. The only thing I'm good for is being better than our computer's antivirus XD

    You have to jailbreak. After you jailbreak, In Cydia download openSSH. Then look around google for a SSH app, windows-iPhone Browser, winscp. Mac cyber duck etc.

    Respring or reboot after you download open SSH.

    Host name=ip address
    user name=root
    password=alpine
    protocol=SFTP
    port=22

    Thanks for your help.

    Just a side note: you see that thing in the upper right hand corner of all my posts? The one that says 'jailbroken'?

    You could have saved time by reading that and then NOT telling me to jailbreak.
