has anyone else noticed that finder is incredibly unstable? it crashes ALOT and many times it causes my ipod to reboot. luckily I've been near a computer for all of those reboots...

    but still, its a problem.

really? I've had it crash a ton, and my friends who I helped jaiblreak all complain to me that their finder app always closes on them...weird.

well I guess it doesnt matter too much, I usually only modify my filesystem when I'm at home or near a computer

yeah thats when it happens the most. but for some reason. it happens more often to me when youre editing the name or properties of an item within a large folder or items. its strange, because you'd expect that as soon as you leave the folder view and go to the edit view, finder wouldn't be loading the items in the folder.

Your probably running out of memory, so the application crashes.

It weird, on my 3G FW2.2 it works fine, never crashes nothing. On my 2G iPhone FW 2.2.1 it worked for a little and now crashes as soon as I open it. I tried everything I could think of to make it work but no go

Works great on the 3G! I'm not sure if it the difference in FW or what, but, it never really worked that great on the 2G iPhone no matter the FW. For me anyway.
