Do you think Apple will kill off the iPod Classic and iPod Shuffle this year? If the iPod Nano gets a bigger touch screen and a homebutton like a "Mini iPod Touch" (according to a few past rumors), do you think it could potentially threaten the Classic? For those of you who do own an iPod Classic, it is safe to say you have a huge music library. Why would you think or do if the iPod Classic was not sold anymore? If Apple introduced a higher capacity iPod touch (hah...probably not anytime soon), would you buy it if that was the only option? If you plan to upgrade from any device you have to an iPod Touch or iPhone 5, feel free to share why you are and what device you wanna get! I'd like to know your thoughts...it has been a very long time since the iPod Classic has seen an update, and I myself am wondering what to get next, be it an iPhone or iPod Touch.
I think they will keep the iPod classic but there is not much more they can improve on it so it will not be refreshed.
I hope not, the ipod classic is the only clickwheel and screen based ipod left. Taking it out of the picture is kinda like removing nintendo from the console wars. Its classic and the icon of the ipod family no matter of how popular ios becomes
If Apple has solved how to get the storage capacity of the Classic with flash memory at the same price point then they will drop the Classic.
This rumor has been going around for years. There's no actual evidence to back it up. I'm guessing they're trying to move on from the days of the classic, so maybe they'll drop it. But who knows? Like I said, there's absolutely zero evidence to support this claim.
i hope they keep it, either way i will probably be buying one soon. i miss having my old click wheel.
Well. I think that this question is quite Relevant, AND...I wonder this myself. This is a Matrix question.
