For some reason I have about 100mb used after doing a factory restore then updating. My ipod touch doesn't have any music or videos in it right now however it says that 99mbs are in use by "other".

Are these remnants left behind from my jailbroken 1.1.1 version, or is this completely normal and does every ipod touch have 99mb used up from system files and such?

And how can I remove these files since I don't want 100mbs taken from my ipod if it is from useless files?

Oh and one last question is the wiggle feature (moving around icons on the springboard) supposed to work for version 1.1.4? Because i can't seem to get it to work unless the Apple application software upgrade (weather, googlemaps, notes, webapps etc) is needed to do this because I didn't pay 20$ for it.

I don't remember it was 100mb but I remember there always was orange in the space bar so I guess it is normal.

I had the same problem. I only had like 20-50mbs before I tried 1.1.4. After I put it back to 1.1.3JB I have 100 womething mb in 'other'. Id on't know hwy and even tried restoring again. Gave up and just went back to how I had it, all be it 50 or so mb less than before..

I think it are app leftovers that restore is not supposed to delete so because its not in his code he won't delete it
