Okay, so I have the warranty on my iPod and I want to cash in on it before it expires later this year. Now i want to know how and/or if i could transfer files(using ifile or mobile finder) to my computer and fully restore the new iPod after it has been jailbroken. What i mean to ask is what files do i need to copy to my computer? I'm stumped

When you plug it in and sync it it automatically makes a backup with iTunes. Then after you restore to your backup whenever you want.

no i am talking about the jailbroken apps to preserve the data in them. i need to know what crucial files i need to transfer. itunes only covers its own behind and backs up only itunes apps.
