i have a few questions about the new 4.0 OS.

1 - Will there be a new theme or is that optional? Will we be able to install themes? I don't want to jailbreak to install themes

2 - will you be able to change the background ( Currently the black one behind the apps ) The iPad has it so why can't the ipod and iphone?

What? Why did you answer no for question number 2, Tkf1? Of course you can.

Because the device runs smoother if you don't.

    Wrong.
My iPod runs just as fast jailbroken as it does unjailbroken.

Do not throw that "runs smoother" crap around the forums, that's not always true.
