Faster Respring?

    has anyone noticed how much faster the respring is on 2.2? i just upgraded and i love it! it seems so much quicker than 2.1.

    do u have just as many apps installed as you did in 2.1.1? Cos the time taken to respring is dependent on the number of apps installed.

    2.1.1 was touch 2g 2.1 was touch 1g

    I have the same amount of applications as I did on 2.1 and the respring is considerably faster on 2.2, so that is not true.
    The only thing that should be effected by the number of applications you have is the generation of the MobileInstallation cache (which is a notifyd post, so you don't see it) or a respring after deleting your cache.

    yeah i have the same amount of apps and the respring is considerably faster. i love it.

    I have started seeing a weird bug and think it could be from sbsettings. When I respring my brightness goes to 100%. Not sure exactly what`s causing it but it wasn`t there when I first jailbroke.
