The audience of this site has become less and less technically inclined. I think that a FAQ would serve them better than a wiki, as a limited amount of information is initially presented and the most common issues are highly visible. It requires more moderation than a wiki, but every single iPod/iPhone wiki is relatively disorganized. There are several free FAQ software packages that are searchable and allow user comments. Perhaps one of them can be installed and moderators and other knowledgeable and trusted individuals can be given access to update it. It would be really nice just to write up a FAQ entry to answer a question and link to it. That would mean that hopefully the same question will be answered fewer times.
