    If itsw possible on 4.0 for 3g iphone, why not 3.1.3 1g ipod touch?

    because, 3.1.3 is just 3.1.2 with extra "walls," plus you can still downgrade 1G's, so why bother? use 3.1.2.

    Way to get the question. He was asking why you can't install openiboot when having 3.1.3 iPod 1G. And you can't because blackra1n doesn't support 3.1.3, just 3.1.2.

    they should make a jailbreak which supports 3.1.3 and iDroid for first generation devices seeing that 3.1.3 will be our last firmware and we won't be needing an updated jailbreak ever again

    I don't know if that's possible, but if it was someone would have done it already. Besides, it isn't that hard to not upgrade your firmware.

    I don't think its really worth it. Guys, 3.1.3 has nothing new except more walls to prevent the pwn method.

    3.1.2 is the way to go for iPod 1G and iPhone 2G and now with most firmware with 4.0 it is kind of stupid.
