    Hey there,
I've always been a huge hockey fan but I never really got into Fantasy hockey pools. I need some help understanding how it works. I read the rules but it's kinda wordy, could someone condense it for me?

ps. I'm using ESPN Fantasy Hockey

So are you confused about the different formats like H2H or rotisserie? Or something else?

Well, in head to head formats every week you are matched up against another owners fantasy team. Your teams compete for the best number in different categories (usually G, A, +/-, PIMs, SOGs, GAA, SV%, SOs). At the end of the week, whoever lead in the most number of categories wins. There fore he is awarded with a win. Towards the end of the regular season, the teams with best records play a playoff. with the winner being crowned champion.
In a roto league, 12 teams compete with each other for the best number in different categories (usually the same as the categories in H2H leagues). The team with the best number in a certain category gets 12 points, with the team, the team with the 2nd best gets 11 points, the worst team getting only 1 point, and so on. The amount of points earned for each category is totaled and whoever has the most points overall is in first place.
