Fallout 3 Error HELP!

    Ok so i got Fallout 3 like all of you suggested but im having a few problems...

    Fallout3 has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

    Happens every time i open the game, it comes up with this error


    When i click For more information about this error, Click here It takes me to this..

    maybe its because you're on sp2 and not on sp3?
    also do you have any mods? if you do try disabling them
    also you could try deleting this folder: my documents> my games> fallout3

    this happend to me on vista. I just changed my visual quality from the best to like medium or something and it worked for me. but idk could be something else.

    on this one i have to disagree. Games like fallout and oblivion, that are created to be uber user mod friendly, are meant to be played on pc. When you get bored of the game, you get mods, which add new items, quests, lands( one mod even adds the ability to travel to different countrys to fallout 3. like canada, iceland, and the like.), etc, and are totaly free. And the consoles lack the ability to be moded, thus the only way to expand the games is through purchasable dlc's.
