    FaceTime Activation Error

Well Facetime logged me out for some reason. Each time I try to log back in a pop up says "An error occurred during activation. Try Again" Anyone know how to fix this or have any suggestions.

reboot, respring, check the email you signed up with and see the email they sent there.
if nothing works, try contacting apple. or go onto the apple site they have like a support forum.
if worse comes to worse, restore, try setting it up again. but restoring is, as always, last resort method.

I re-checked my email. That wasn"t it. I rebooted and respring that didn"t do anything. I am still getting the same error.

Are you running the Google voice native SMS mod?

I ran into the same problem, I traced it down to the <key>sms</key><true/> code you put inside N81AP.plist. This breaks FaceTime for some reason. I think it's because the iPod thinks it's now an iphone, and the iPhone FaceTime activates differently compared to how the touch does.

It's a side effect of enabling SMS on the iPod.
