It's a standard SDHC card with WiFi so you can upload pictures from your camera to a server anytime you're on WiFi.

Is there any way to use this card to transfer photos to/from my iPod Touch, while not connected to WiFi?

If so, will this only work with a jail broken iPod Touch?

    Did you read the description?

It's an SDHC with 802.111. It goes into your camera and can connect to a WiFi network to dump photos to a server.

What I want to know is if this card can connect to my iPod and dump to that?

    Of course not.

Did you read the description? It has 802.11 and so does the iPod Touch.

Can I use this card to connect to my iPod Touch?

    802.11 is a wireless standard.
this card can't connect to the iPod, it doesn't have the right slot.
the iPod also has WIFI, why do you need this card?

you guys are a bit dense

he's basically asking if he could create an ad-hoc network between the camera and his ipod

and then dump pics from the camera to the ipod
