My screen just ALWAYS freezes and refuses to let me click. Not much of a touch anymore. lol. No, I'm not a noob either. I've tried virtually everything to fix it!

    Here's the timeline.

    1. Got iPod Touch.

    2. Jailbroke it day later with ZiPhone (1.1.1)

    3. About a month later, begins to freeze and unrespond alot.

    4. Update to 1.1.5 thinking it'll fix things.

    5. Same error. No more jailbreak.

    6. Reset all settings and erase everything. No help.

    7. Try all teh fixes (hold home/power button, restore. I restored like 3 times.)

    8. Jailbreak it again with iLiberty.

    9. Still, nothing.

Any input or help? Tips? ANYTHING?! It's my girlfriends iPod touch that I got her and I don't want her to be distraught.

Take it to apple store they'll replace it for free! Just tell them the touch screen is having issues.

There's no way they can know that I jailbroke it if I factory reset it?!?

Okay, here's the question though. And I'm afraid I won't like the answer.

I bought it on eBay and I'm not sure if there's a warranty. Will they still replace it??

Erm. No. I doubt it, unless it was sold to you with a warranty and papers.

Oh thank God. I checked the serial number on Apple's site and the warranty ends Oct 24 this year.

    Thank God! lol
