I have my iPod Touch 2G jailbroken using the tethered redsn0w method. The problem is the rebooting process; I experience boot times (with the Apple logo) of nearly 5 minutes before I get to my unlock screen. What in the world could be causing this? What can I do to "speed it up" to normal boot times (under one minute)?

Seeming you have a 32 gb, you probroally have a sh*tload of stuff. A sh*tload of stuff = long load times. So its probrally from having lots of other stuff on it.

On startup I have Winterboard (Just a small theme), SBSettings, Stacks, and Categories. Nothing else, aside of miscellaneous tweaks.

    EDIT:
Oh, and for some strange reason I have the following iPhone features that I do not know what I downloaded to get them (from Cydia): "Airplane Mode" toggle under Preferences, "Searching for Service"/"No Service", and my unlock screen has the "Emergency Call" option at the bottom (that crashes when clicked). I have looked through Cydia's "Manage Packages" category, but could not find anything that could have caused this.

This is just a downside of jailbreaking, mine takes 1-2 min . Five is really bad tho.

I have a sh*tload of songs and photos, yes. Videos, just some podcasts. Do those seriously affect booting times?

Actually, it does. Because it has to load everything up and sh*t. So yes that does alter the time.
