I just jailbroke my ipod, trying to download some junk. when downloading a large file (200mb) my wifi is good until like 75% through then it suddenly turns off and then i click home and it comes on again. i have the insomnia program and am using it but this is getting really annoying.

the auto lock is also turned off, any help?

why don't you just turn off the auto lock and plug your iPod in while downloading?

when your ipod isnt connected to an energy source it turns off the wifi after about 10 minutes to conserve power... pluging it in makes it so that the wifi doesnt turn off

no sorry, you could try reinstalling the package but other then that insomnia would have made it so that wifi doesnt go away

I don't know what insomnia does but if I was to download something and I know that it is a big file I'd just plug it in turn off auto lock and start downloading.........what do you mean by doesn't go away. does that mean where ever you go as long as you had wifi at one point you would still have it.
