I know a lot of you have been waiting for a VNC server for your iPod so you can see your iPod's screen. Saurik made one and it was only about 1 fps and made the device rather laggy. Steven Troughton Smith, maker of Stacks and iPhoneDoom, compiled it and uploaded it for a few people. It has no input, but you can see your screen. No work will probably be made on this project, but I decided to let some people know about it.

    SOURCE CODE
    Code:
    http://svn.saurik.com/repos/menes/trunk/iphonevnc/
    DOWNLOAD
    Code:
    http://www.[PIRACY.mf].com/?9eodjxpovss
    Instructions

    1. Install libvncserver from Cydia.
    2. Place iPhoneVNCServer in /bin
    3. SSH into your iPod and type in iPhoneVNCServer
    4. Open a VNC connection to your IP address. I recommend Chicken of the VNC.

    So there you go.

    That... sounds... Cool!

But utterly useless, since an iPoT's and iPhones are pretty much as mobile as you can get... Of course, if you just so happen to leave your iPod at your friend's house... then it might come in handy.

But with an fps of 1... now that's just vulgar.
