Hi, in about a weeks time I am going to be purchasing an Ipod Touch and was wondering if there was any way I can extract all the songs I have on my Ipod mini onto my computer. I don't really want to redownload all of these songs if I don' t have to because that would take quite a bit of time please let me no if there is a way to do this.

    Thank you,

    Kasek

you can use "ipodrip" (mac osx ) or CopyTrans (windows), both work great.

I have one called iDump(windows). Its a small .exe, and it can run directly from your ipod.

Or you can turn on "Show hidden folders" on your computer, then go to your ipod's hard drive, then to the hidden folder called "ipod_control." There is a folder in there called "Music." copy that to your computer, then you can put that folder in your ipod touch through iTunes.

I used sharepod to add music from my ipod to my computer. It's free, just google it.
