I'm following an online tutorial (http://www.modmyi.com/wiki/index.php/Installing_toolchain_for_windows) on how to set up toolchain 2.0 for my windows vista computer (32 bit - cygwin, and other environment tools set up)
and I get to the part of the tutorial that says
When I try this, I have to take away the ending part of the command (" | cpio -i") because it says "ERROR: cpio: no such function" or something like that. So I run the new command being "gunzip Archive.pax.gz" BUT IT TOOK OVER TWO HOURS AND STILL WASN'T DONE! I gave up after that amount of time because I thought I probably did something wrong. Is this normal?? Please reply, thanks.

It didn't took me 2hours but i used the "cpio" part. You can install it just by running Cygwin setup again and select it.

Thanks a ton! It worked perfectly and in no-time at all! (I had tried to install cpio before but I couldn't find it in the package selection; I guess I wasn't looking hard enough
